Michelle Remer joined the Sheriff’s Office
in November of 2010 as the Administrative Assistant to the Sheriff. Michelle is primarily responsible for numerous duties critical to the operation of the Sheriff’s Office. She reports directly to the Sheriff, managing the Sheriff’s schedule to include all internal
and external meetings, media engagements and conferences. Along with these
tasks, Michelle also administers the social media sites, handles writing and
preparing news releases, publishes the newsletter, and informs the Sheriff’s
Office of any updates or changes through memorandums. She is the Program
Coordinator for the annual “Shop with a Hero” event and “Saginaw County
Sheriff’s Office Awards Ceremony.” Michelle also performs human resources duties such as the completion of paperwork for new hires within the Sheriff’s
She graduated from Central Michigan
University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Integrative Public
Relations and Journalism. Michelle was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan
where she currently resides.
Mary Snow Administrative Assistant &
Mary Snow joined the Sheriff’s Office in January of 2004 as an
Account Clerk II in the Records Department. In June of 2011, Mary was promoted to the title of Administrative Assistant to Undersheriff Karl and Records Manager of the Records Department, she currently holds this role. Her main duties entail overseeing the operation of the Record’s Department, processing the Freedom of Information Act (F.O.I.A.) requests that come through, coordinate receipt, service and return of all civil process documents for the Sheriff’s Office, manages the foreclosures that take place every Friday at the Courthouse Lobby, maintains full responsibility of coordination of all prison transports and enters payroll for the Corrections Division.
Mary has been with the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office for 9 years and over 18 years of service with Saginaw County.
Mary was born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She is a graduate of Saginaw High School. She received her Associate in Arts Degree from Delta College. Currently, Mary is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Delta College and plans to complete this in 2014.
She has one daughter who currently attends college in Alabama. Mary is a devout Christian and attends New Covenant Christian Center Church in
Connie Sullivan Accountant
Connie Sullivan began at the Sheriff’s Office in September of
2000 as a Staff Accountant. The position was then reclassified to Financial Administrator in April of 2004, which is the position she holds today. Connie is responsible for the Sheriff’s Office budget, the financial end of Grants and Special Projects and is responsible for payroll. Connie is the individual in charge of Accounts Payable and any revenues generated.
Connie received a B.B.A. in Accounting and Business Management in August of 1990 from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU). In May of 2008, Connie received an M.B.A. in General Business Concentration from SVSU. Connie was inducted into the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma for Academic Achievement in March of 2008. Here at the Sheriff’s Office, Connie received the Sheriff’s Personal Citation Award in May of 2009.
Connie was born and raised in Saginaw and currently resides in Bay City with her husband and two children.
