Inmates at the Broomfield Detention Center are allowed to receive mails or packages from the members of the public. The mail or package must be amongst the list of approved items. All inmates at the Broomfield Detention Center have access to a Commissary account. Here, the inmates can receive money in the form of cash, check, or money order from members of the public. These funds are essential for paying for personal supplies from the kiosk. Anyone sending funds to an inmate should indicate the full names of the inmates and their inmate ID at the back of the money order or check slip.

Inmates at the Broomfield Detention Center can make 15-minutes long call collect to friends or family members as per an approved list. Here, the receiver bears the full cost of the call. Still, the inmate may use money from their Commissary accounts to cater for the costs of the call. Phone calls are limited to between 7 am and 7.30 pm.

Any inmate that has been at t the Broomfield Detention Center for at least 24 hours is allowed to meet visitors. These 15-minutes long visits take place between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
