How to Find Someone in Dade County Jail
The Dade County Jail, through the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, maintains an online inmate roster for its inmates. Here, anyone can search and confirm whether their family members or friends are held at the facility. Also, the search will yield details about the inmate’s current charges, case number, location for visitation, and scheduled court dates. Inquiries about an inmate’s bond details are to be directed to the Clerk of Courts Office.

Inmates at the Dade County Jail are allowed to receive and spend money from their Commissary inmate accounts. Each inmate at the Dade County Jail receives a Personal Identification Number (PIN) upon being booked. The inmates use their PIN numbers to access the Commissary account.
Phone calls
Inmates can access Dade County Jail’s inmate phone system using their PINs. They make up to 20-minutes phone calls from Mondays to Thursdays between 6 am, and 11 pm and Fridays to Sundays from 6 am to 12 am. Anyone wishing to receive a phone call from the inmates should have an active Securus Online account.
Visitation
Inmate visitation is allowed at the Dade County Jail from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and Fridays until noon. It is a 15 minutes visit where two adults and three children can see the inmate at the same time. One of both of the adults must be the parents or the legal guardians to the children. These visitors are as per the approved member’s list. Juveniles at the city jail are permitted a 30-minutes session with their visitors.
