The Orange Regional Juvenile Detention Center, also known as Orlando Prison, is a medium-security state prison holding adult female inmates in Orange County, Florida. This prison has two living units capable of holding up to 127 offenders serving long sentences. The first one is minimum security confinement with 100-beds capacity while the second unit is 90-bed confinement for special management. Other facilities include a medical section, a maintenance area, a dining area, canteen, gym, and correctional industries. The Orange Regional Juvenile Detention Center is one of the few state prisons in the United States using the latest technology in keeping the inmates, visitors, and prison officials safe.
