The Breese Jail is a maximum security jail in Clinton County, Illinois. It comprises of eight double occupancy cells holding at least eight inmates a month and at least 160 bookings each year. As one of the top 3 busiest correctional facilities in Clinton County, the city jail observes high hygiene standards as stipulated by the health department and the Illinois Corrections Standards Authority. Inmates at the facility face serious criminal charges including, robbery, murder, and rape. Sending Money

Each inmate at the Breese Jail has access to a Commissary account where they can receive and spend money on personal items. They get the funds via cash or check deposits or money order remittances. The sender must ensure the check or money order bears the inmate’s full names and ID at the back of the slip.
