Each inmate at the Avoyelles Parish County Jail receives a Personal Identification Number (PIN) upon being booked. The inmates use their PIN numbers to access the Commissary account.

Phone calls

Inmates can access Avoyelles Parish County Jail’s inmate phone system using their PINs. They make up to 20-minutes phone calls from Mondays to Thursdays between 6 am, and 11 pm and Fridays to Sundays from 6 am to 12 am. Anyone wishing to receive a phone call from the inmates should have an active Securus Online account.

Visitation

Inmate visitation is allowed at the Avoyelles Parish County Jail from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and Fridays until noon. It is a 15 minutes visit where two adults and three children can see the inmate at the same time. One of both of the adults must be the parents or the legal guardians to the children. These visitors are as per the approved member’s list. Juveniles at the city jail are permitted a 30-minutes session with their visitors.
