Inmates at the Northern State Prison are allowed to buy personal items from the prison canteen or commissary. Northern State Prison’s inmate visitation time happens every Saturdays and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Here, inmates receive up to 4 persons (including children) per visit as from the approved list. These are face to face visits with the exception of an inmate from the administrative segregation or the working cellblock. These last two offenders get non-contact visits only.
