The Davidson County Sheriff’s office, through the Ridgetop Detention Facility, receives mails and packages for inmates held at the Ridgetop City Jail. Members of the public are to address the mail or package as follows: -

All incoming and outgoing mail and packages are opened and inspected for contraband. Any incoming mail that bears a professional letterhead is to be opened in front of the inmate.

Inmates at the Ridgetop City Jail are allowed to spend up to $100 on commissary items. Therefore, a member of the public may deposit funds to the inmate’s commissary account via: -

Inmates are not allowed to receive any phone calls while held at the Ridgetop City Jail. Instead, the inmates can make collect calls or regular calls from their ICS phone account. Only inmates that have been in the Ridgetop Detention Facility for at least 72 hours are eligible for visitation.
